Vice-Premier Liu Yandong on Nov 3 attended a symposium to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the birth of Zou Taofen, an outstanding journalist and publisher in China.
Liu suggested more reform, more innovation and publication of good works to meet the diversified cultural needs of the people. Related industries should be integrated to help the development of economic growth, she said.
The vice-premier said that cross-nation people-to-people exchanges should be encouraged to promote good works going abroad and improve the power of Chinese culture. In order to adapt to changes in the industry such as a new consumption mode, Liu suggested improving the efficiency of the government and stimulating market vitality and social creativity.
