Vice-premier meets with Polish deputy PM

Vice-Premier Liu Yandong met with Jaroslaw Gowin, Poland’s deputy prime minister and minister of science and higher education, in Beijing on Oct 11.

Liu spoke highly of the long friendship and bilateral relationship between China and Poland, saying that the relationship is facing good development opportunities. All-around cooperation under the frame of China-Middle and East European Countries Cooperation Mechanism between the two countries has led to gratifying results, she added.

The vice-premier also said that China is glad to maintain close ties with Poland to deepen strategic partnership, and expand communications in education, culture and sports to benefit more people in the two countries.

Gowin said Poland will promote the strategic partnership with China, increase people-to-people exchanges and boost bilateral cooperation.
