Vice-Premier Wang Yang called for high-quality implementation of the third National Agriculture Census at a teleconference in Beijing on Dec 1.

The investigation and registration of the third census will begin on Jan 1, 2017. The vice-premier urged related ministries and departments to be prepared for the work. He stressed that the census should be carried out strictly according to related laws and regulations and the usage of modern technologies should be strengthened.
