BEIJING — Vice-Premier Han Zheng has urged officials of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government to strengthen efforts in pushing forward the integration of the city into the general development of the country.

On listening to speeches given by representatives of the delegation, Han spoke highly of the HKSAR government’s work and expressed his hope that Hong Kong civil servants can fully and faithfully implement the principle of “one country, two systems,” enhance their awareness of the Constitution and the Basic Law, create a better life for the people of Hong Kong and make new contributions to realizing the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.

The delegation, led by Joshua Law, secretary for the Civil Service of the HKSAR Government, was on a visit to the mainland for a national studies course in Beijing.
