Vice-Premier Han Zheng wrote an article for the fourth plenary session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), pressing for the CPC's supreme leadership in improving socialism in China and developing the national governance system.
According to the article, which was published in the People’s Daily on Nov 15, all departments concerned should insist on the supreme leadership of the CPC and ensure the full implementation of improving socialism with Chinese characteristics, pushing forward the construction of a modern governance system.
The government should also strive for a robust executive force and efficiently convert the advantage of Chinese characteristics in its socialism into administrative force, the article said.
China's unique socialism calls for better publicity and education, in an effort to accentuate the superiority of the system to the whole Party and people nationwide.
In addition, a professional administrative talent team is a must, which can underpin the improvement in socialism with Chinese characteristics and the development in national governance, the article said.
