BEIJING — The Ministry of Civil Affairs on June 8 reopened its face-to-face complaint reception service, which had been suspended since Jan 30 due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
The decision was made in accordance with the epidemic prevention and control arrangements of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and of the capital city of Beijing, according to the ministry.
The ministry also advised the public to submit their complaints and proposals via letters, phone calls or its online platform, instead of visiting the reception in person.
Beijing lowered its COVID-19 emergency response posture from the second level to the third level starting June 6.
