BEIJING — Chinese health authority said on June 11 that 11 new COVID-19 cases were reported on the mainland on June 10 and all of them were imported, including six in Shanghai, three in Guangdong, one in Tianjin and Fujian each.
No new domestically transmitted COVID-19 cases were reported on the mainland, according to a daily report issued by National Health Commission.
No deaths related to the disease or new suspected cases were reported on June 10, the report said.
On June 10, four people were discharged from hospitals after recovery.
As of June 10, the overall confirmed cases on the mainland had reached 83,057, including 62 patients who were still being treated, with no one in severe condition.
Altogether 78,361 people had been discharged after recovery and 4,634 people had died of the disease, the commission said.
By June 10, the Chinese mainland had reported a total of 1,797 imported cases. Of the cases, 1,736 had been discharged from hospitals after recovery, and 61 remained hospitalized, with no one in severe condition. No deaths from the imported cases had been reported. There was currently one suspected case, the commission said.
According to the commission, 3,179 close contacts were still under medical observation after 358 people were discharged from medical observation on June 10.
Also on June 10, four new asymptomatic cases, including three imported, were reported on the mainland. One asymptomatic case was re-categorized as a confirmed case. A total of 29 asymptomatic cases, including four imported cases, were discharged from medical observation.
The commission said 129 asymptomatic cases, including 45 imported cases, were still under medical observation.
By June 10, 1,107 confirmed cases including four deaths had been reported in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), 45 confirmed cases in the Macao SAR, and 443 in Taiwan including seven deaths.
A total of 1,051 patients in the Hong Kong SAR, 45 in the Macao SAR, and 431 in Taiwan had been discharged from hospitals after recovery.
