BEIJING — Chinese traffic police will launch a campaign starting from Sept 13 to strengthen the crackdown on drunk driving around the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday.
The police will live broadcast their law-enforcement activities during the 10-day campaign to warn the drivers against drunk driving, according to a recent statement from the traffic management bureau of the Ministry of Public Security.
The bureau called on traffic participants to obey traffic rules and make joint efforts to ensure road safety.
The Mid-Autumn Festival, a traditional festival symbolizing family reunion, falls on Sept 21 this year and the holiday will last three days.
