BEIJING — A national-level list has been issued, recommending the first batch of blocks for tourism and leisure purposes, China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism said on Jan 10.

Altogether 55 streets featuring history, culture and commerce were included, including Qianmen Street in Beijing and Sinan Mansions in Shanghai.

The list is available on the ministry website for public opinions and suggestions.
