State councilor meets British official on intellectual property

State Councilor Wang Yong met with Baroness Lucy Neville-Rolfe, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills of Britain on Sept 3.

Speaking highly of efforts made by Britain to promote bilateral cooperation on intellectual property affairs, Wang said China attaches great importance to the protection of intellectual property rights.

He said China is willing to further strengthen exchange and cooperation with Britain so as to better push forward the healthy development of the intellectual property affairs and let both countries benefit from the innovation and the protection of the intellectual property rights.
