China, Interpol pledge closer anti-corruption cooperation

State Councilor Guo Shengkun met with Interpol’s Secretary-general Jurgen Stock on Oct 9 in Beijing where two sides pledged to boost cooperation on fight against corruption.

Guo said China is willing to work with Interpol to promote international cooperation on anti-terrorism, cyber security, fighting against transborder crimes as well as hunting down fugitive suspects and recovering the booties.

Stock hailed China’s achievement in fighting corruption and said that Interpol will firmly cooperate with China on fighting corruption.
