State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi stressed work on public security and social stability during the upcoming Spring Festival while paying a visit to police officers in Beijing.

He urged the police officers to serve the people and honor their tasks.

Zhao visited the police dog training base, crime investigation office, and combat center of Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau and the anti-telecommunication fraud center of the city, and sent his greetings to the officers.

He stressed reinforced efforts on the fight against crime, a leading role in reform and innovation, and strong discipline.

More work should be done to guarantee security during Spring Festival, minimize risks, and strengthen patrols, to safeguard national security and social stability, he added.
