BEIJING — State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with the Foreign Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica Francine Baron in Beijing on Feb 21.

China-Dominica relations have enjoyed sound development on the basis of sticking to the one-China policy, Wang said, adding that both sides should seize the opportunity of jointly participating in the Belt and Road Initiative to open up new space for mutually beneficial cooperation.

Dominica adheres to the one-China policy, supports the Belt and Road Initiative and looks forward to coordinating and cooperating with China on various issues such as climate change, Baron said.
