Vice-Premier Zhang Gaoli exchanged congratulatory messages with Singaporean Deputy Prime Minister and Home Affairs Minister Teo Chee Hean on Oct 3, the 25th anniversary of bilateral ties.

Zhang said China and Singapore have deepened political trust, expanded practical cooperation and people-to-people exchanges during the past quarter of a century.

Bilateral cooperation has improved with smooth progress on multiple projects, Zhang said, adding that China is willing to work with Singapore to push forward more achievements that suit the development status of both countries.

The two countries are currently advancing the third intergovernmental cooperation project in West China.

Teo said Singapore is willing to work with China to bring bilateral relations to a new level.
