China will work with Cape Verde to implement the consensuses reached by President Xi Jinping and Silva, as well as results of the summit, so as to promote the bilateral relations and China-Africa cooperation to a new level, Han said.

Silva said the fruitful summit sent a positive signal of supporting multilateralism and will benefit Cape Verde and other African countries.

Silva added that Cape Verde and China signed an MoU on the joint construction of the Belt and Road, which will strongly promote the bilateral cooperation on connectivity.
