Minister of public security and State Councilor Zhao Kezhi stressed efforts to maintain political security and social stability in China during a national video meeting of coordinating public security organs on July 27.
He requested the organs to strictly guard against and severely crack down on infiltrating, subversive and sabotage activities by hostile forces in and outside China, and not to relax implementation of anti-terrorism measures.
And careful work should be done to strengthen warning, predicting and overall control of risks, as well as specify responsibilities to achieve social stability and public security.
For outstanding problems that affect social stability, efforts should be intensified to investigate and resolve conflicts and disputes in advance.
Also, he called on public security organs to lead the fight against floods and COVID-19 epidemic, maintain production and life order, and ensure safety and stability of places under supervision and management of public security organs.
