State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi stressed immigration administration work at a meeting commending China's outstanding border defenders on Oct 23.
Immigration authorities were asked to study the speech by President Xi Jinping at the meeting marking the 70th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers forces entering the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to fight in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-53), and also the talk during the ceremony of conferring the police flag on China's police force, Zhao said.
Zhao urged efforts to promote the spirit demonstrated in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, learn from the heroes and models, follow the examples of the nation's top 10 border defenders, and work hard for better immigration administration work in the new era.
Zhao also stressed political loyalty of the police, the Party's leadership in immigration administration work, justice and impartiality in law enforcement, and the importance of building a strong immigration administration team.
