State Councilor Zhao Kezhi, who is also the minister of public security, met with 100 elected outstanding criminal policeman representatives on Dec 10.

Zhao pressed for a positive atmosphere among the whole public security force taking a page from the exemplars' book, and he urged them to stay true to the mission, and fully demonstrate a favorable image of socialist policemen who stick to wholehearted devotion to public duty and selfless dedication.

Zhao fully affirmed laudable contributions made by the criminal investigation department of public security and criminal policemen to their work and protection of people's well-being.
