State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi called for all-out efforts to uphold the country's political security and social stability during a national meeting on April 27.
Public security departments and bureaus met to discuss the forthcoming 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
He stressed that all public security staff should stick to the highest standards, meet the strictest requirements, and take the most careful measures, to create a favorable environment for the CPC anniversary.
He called for precautions against major risks, urging prevention and control measures to safeguard the capital city for safe celebrations and sound epidemic control.
In addition, Zhao also pressed public security forces to ensure a happy, peaceful, and safe Labor Day holiday for the public.
