BEIJING — An exhibition of traditional Chinese ink paintings of the ancient Silk Road opened in Beijing on June 2.
The exhibition, named “Silk Road in Traditional Chinese Ink Paintings,” features traditional Chinese paintings depicting historical buildings, cultures, and lives along the Silk Road.
Sponsored by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) secretariat, the exhibition will run until June 7.
A book of the same title and similar content will also debut during the 18th SCO Summit, which is scheduled for June 9 to 10 in Qingdao in East China’s Shandong province.
