The State Council decided to eliminate a third batch of 17 intermediary service items, which had been preconditions for enterprises or individuals to go through the administrative approval process.
The canceled items include test for radio transmission equipment, energy saving assessment for fixed assets investment, test for genetically modified food and quality approval for railway construction enterprises.
Two items were established in accordance with laws and regulations, and the State Council will submit them to the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress for amendments.
In addition, one item concerns agreements on trade and economic relation between Chinese mainland and Hong Kong and Macao. The State Council will exchange views with the special administrative region (SAR) governments to make any further changes.
