The State Council announced the administrative adjustment of three institutions directly underneath it in a circular issued on July 13.

According to the circular, these three institutions will have new management, with the China Earthquake Administration under the Ministry of Emergency Management, the National Natural Science Foundation of China under the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the National Council for Social Security Fund under the Ministry of Finance.
