Streamlined government services to further benefit people

Premier Li Keqiang pressed for streamlined government services at the two sessions this year, highlighting faster approvals for the establishment of enterprises and projects, an integrated e-government platform, one-stop services, and an all-around annulment of certificates with no legal basis.

The Premier urged that a comprehensive platform be in order, allowing people and enterprises to access government services online.

People can search for related government services from the State Council’s website — the main portal. Consultation, declaration, management, feedback and the like can all be carried out on the e-government platform regardless of users’ physical whereabouts.

In the meantime, offline management of government services shall be concluded all at once, without the need for a second trip. The general affairs halls of governments should provide people with one-stop services, with applications accepted at the reception and categorization and approvals completed at the office.

Additionally, administrative approval items also can be handled citywide, in the neighborhood as well as in other places.

A highly efficient e-government platform is a touchstone for the construction of a service-oriented government, which ushers in substantial convenience for people and enterprises, Premier Li said.
