BEIJING -- Before heading to Berlin, Premier Li Keqiang visited the Einstein House museum in the Swiss capital of Bern during his stay in the Alpine country.

The museum is the residence of Albert Einstein from 1903 to 1905. Commenting on Einstein’s life and research, Li said his story shows no innovation would be possible without imagination, and no great achievement would be possible without hard work and persistent learning. With this, Li called for more technological cooperation between Chinese and Swiss enterprises.

The premier added protection of intellectual property rights must be stepped up, so as to rev up the passion of innovators and ensure they receive merited returns. He also encouraged enterprises to design products that are both technologically advanced and aligned to market needs.
