Premier Li Keqiang has called for the establishment of an insurance exchange while boosting the current financial market to mitigate risks.

“Further reform and opening up is crucial for Shanghai to achieve its goal of becoming an international financial center, and the rest of the country can also draw experience from it,” Premier Li said on Nov 25 during an inspection visit to the Shanghai headquarters of the People’s Bank of China.
