Premier Li Keqiang rushed to Wuhan, Hubei province, on the morning of July 6 to direct rescue and relief efforts amid torrential rain.

Premier Li took the high-speed train from Yueyang, Hunan province. Soon after he arrived in Wuhan, the Premier immediately went to the scene to direct rescue and relief work in Wuhan city’s Qingshan district, where part of a floodwall is at risk.
