During his visit to Ruijin, Jiangxi province, on Aug 22, Premier Li Keqiang stopped at a paddy field. He checked out the paddy and asked several farmers about the purchase price of rice and their income. The Premier asked accompanying officials in charge of agriculture to ensure farmers’ earnings by further improving the mechanisms on grain circulation and pricing.
