Premier Li Keqiang and Jordanian Prime Minister Hani Mulki exchanged letters of congratulation on April 7 in celebration of the 40th anniversary of China-Jordanian diplomatic ties.
Since the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations, China and Jordan’s cooperation enjoyed stable growth with frequent high-level exchanges and deepened political trust. Solid results were achieved in pragmatic and extended cooperation in various fields, Premier said.
The two countries have developed a strategic partnership in recent years. China is keen to work with Jordan to advance their friendship and deepen cooperation, in an effort to benefit the two countries and its peoples, he added.
Mulki said China and Jordan have reached many consensuses on international affairs, including efforts on safeguarding peace and security in the Middle East, and his country will continue to strengthen the bilateral relationship further.
