As the 2017 Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week kicked off, Premier Li Keqiang gave a written instruction on fostering and integrating the environment for mass entrepreneurship and innovation, aimed at promoting the development of new industries, new growth drivers and the cultivation of new talent.
The entrepreneurship and innovation initiative has been deeply integrated in all industries and sectors, precisely targeted at market demands and backed by vast innovative resources of society, said the Premier in the instruction. “It has effectively unleashed market vitality and social creativity, accelerated the transformation from old growth drivers to new ones, and promoted equal opportunities for development and employment expansion.”
The Premier also urged further fostering the integrated, coordinated and sharing environment for mass entrepreneurship and innovation, and more efforts in creating a market order for fair competition, and improving an inclusive and prudent supervision mechanism.
In addition, he called for establishing new patterns for the integrated development of big, medium and small enterprises, and promoting the development of the digital economy and platform economy, in a bid to obtain more high-level achievements in mass entrepreneurship and innovation, and provide support for economic transformation and upgrades.
