Premier Li Keqiang joined a panel discussion with deputies from East China’s Zhejiang province at the first session of the 13th National People’s Congress in Beijing on March 7.

One deputy mentioned that the Premier was applauded several times when speaking about administrative streamlining, power delegation and service optimization when he delivered the Government Work Report. The slogan “one trip at most, and all the procedures can be done” promoted by Zhejiang province was officially written into the Government Work Report, which excited local deputies, he said.

Premier Li said that the applause is encouragement and also pressure for government work. This slogan cannot be belittled, as the government function can truly change if it can be achieved.

The Premier expressed the hope that Zhejiang province can grasp this point, give more power to enterprises, provide more convenience for the people, and stimulate more market vitality and social creativity.
