Premier Li Keqiang joined a panel discussion with the Hunan delegation at the first session of the 13th National People’s Congress in Beijing on March 12.
Liang Wengen, one of the deputies, who also is chairman of Sany Group Co Ltd, said value-added tax reform has increased profits, and administrative reform has improved efficiency, which inject vitality into his company.
Located in Central China, Hunan is the front runner of reform and opening-up, and it has achieved significant progress.
In the next phase, Hunan should handle the relationship between market and government in a proper manner, foster a business environment that favors entrepreneurship and innovation, and improve the quality of public services, Premier Li said.
He expressed his hope that Hunan will take the lead in the rise of Central China, a strategy to develop the economy of six inland provinces, including North China’s Shanxi and East China’s Anhui.
