The Chinese government is researching policies to significantly reduce the tax burden on enterprises, and both Chinese and foreign enterprises that are registered in China will enjoy the same policy, Premier Li Keqiang said, in a speech at the opening ceremony of the 2018 Summer Davos Forum in Tianjin on Sept 19, 2018.

To make positive fiscal policies more effective, more efforts should be made to cut taxes and fees to relieve the burden on enterprises, thus stimulating market vitality, the Premier said.

“We should not only implement existing measures unswervingly, but also explore policies that can significantly relieve the tax burden on enterprises,” he said.
