Premier Li Keqiang sent a congratulatory letter to a high-level international seminar on improving the business environment, which was held in Beijing on Nov 2.
Premier Li said the Chinese government in recent years has been making great efforts to improve the business environment by promoting reform in streamlining administration, delegating powers and optimizing services, which has led to significant results, with market vitality and social creativity being greatly stimulated.
China will further expand reform and opening-up, treat domestic and foreign-funded enterprises equally, as well as enterprises of different ownerships, and accelerate its efforts in building a first-class business environment, so that the country can remain a hot destination for investment and cooperation between Chinese and overseas enterprises.
China expects intensified cooperation with international organizations such as the World Bank, in an effort to jointly cope with global challenges, Premier Li said, while encouraging participants of the seminar to make suggestions on how to promote international cooperation and improve the business environment.
