Premier Li Keqiang called for more work to lower thresholds to stimulate market players, besides fully delivering tax and fee cuts, during his visit to the administrative service center of Liangjiang New Area in Southwest China’s Chongqing municipality on Aug 21, 2020.

While learning about COVID-19’s impacts on businesses and the results of tax and fee reduction policies from a dozen employers with smaller enterprises, Premier Li was told that enterprises were benefiting from those stronger-than-expected policies, and are surviving the difficult time.

He then heard reports on administrative reforms in Chongqing, and praised its zero-cost business registration in one day and 24-hour government services.

The online administrative service in Chongqing was voted by the citizens as their favorite reform in the last two years.

As online government services are being launched in many regions, enterprises and people can get convenient services, Premier Li said.
