Premier Li Keqiang said that China and Kazakhstan are friendly neighbors and hoped that the two countries promote mutually-beneficial cooperation based on the high level of mutual political trust.

Premier Li made the remarks at the second regular meeting of the China-Kazakhstan heads of government with his Kazakh counterpart Karim Masimov in Astana on Dec 14.

The regular meeting is held every two years; and the first was in Beijing in 2012.
