The further development of the China-Brazil relationship will need support from the legislative bodies of the two countries, Premier Li Keqiang said when he met with President Renan Calheiros of the Brazilian Federal Senate on May 19.

Premier Li said he hopes that the parliaments of China and Brazil would strengthen communication and facilitate mutual understanding, thus providing the necessary legal guarantees for smooth bilateral cooperation.
