Premier Li Keqiang arrived in Lima, capital of Peru on the afternoon of May 22 to pay an official visit to the country after a visit of less than 24 hours to Colombia. Upon arrival, the Premier and his wife were welcomed by senior officials of the hosting nation. Hoping his visit would further enhance the traditional friendship and mutual political trust between China and Peru, Li aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
