Premier Li holds panel discussion with Chinese entrepreneurs in Peru

Premier Li Keqiang held a panel discussion with Chinese entrepreneurs in Lima, Peru on May 23 local time. Representatives of Wanxin Group, Capital Steel, Chinalco and Minmetals talked about their local business operation. Li told them to obey Peru’s laws, contribute to their society and environmental protection and push forward the transformation and upgrade of China-Peru economic cooperation.

Premier Li told Chinese employees in Peru to take care

Li also engaged in a video chat with Chinese companies’ employees in Peru while attending a panel discussion with Chinese entrepreneurs in the country’s capital Lima. Hearing that many employees work far from their families at altitudes as high as 4 to 5 kilometers, Li told them to take good care of themselves. He said as they are working in a foreign country for China, their families miss them and their motherland appreciates their contributions.

Premier: Chinese enterprises should work as a team to go overseas

When attending the panel discussion with Chinese entrepreneurs in Peru on May 23 local time, Premier Li said selling equipment abroad is the key for China’s transformation and upgrade in industrial structure. Facing all sorts of regional and cultural differences and risks when going abroad, Chinese enterprises should work as a team and avoid hostile competition, Li said. He promised that China will offer preferential policies in finance and other areas to support them.
