Premier Li Keqiang met with Speaker of the ROK National Assembly Chung Ui-hwa in Seoul on Nov 1.
The Premier said legislative bodies in China and ROK are the main part of the bilateral relations, and the consensus and agreements between the two countries also need the bilateral legal support.
He said the two legislative bodies will deepen the cooperation in administration, developing economy and improving people’s livelihood, and will add new vigor of the all-round development of China-ROK ties.
The Premier hoped the Assembly continues to play its implacable role in promoting the mutual cooperation.
China and ROK are good neighbors, Premier Li said. And the purpose of the visit was to promote the bilateral friendship, strengthen the mutual trusts, expand cooperation and find innovative strategies for communications.
Chung Ui-hwa expressed that the Premier’s meeting with President Park Geun-hye on Oct 31 achieved excellent results, and the National Assembly of ROK will make efforts to complete the domestic legislation procedures necessary for the China-ROK Free Trade Agreement by the end of this year.
