Premier Li Keqiang called for enhanced cooperation in trade and investment between China, Japan and the Republic of Korea during the 5th China-Japan-ROK Business Summit in Seoul on Nov 1.
As members of the world’s top 10 countries in terms of trade, the trilateral trade volume among the three countries only amounts to 20 percent of their total foreign trade, he said.
The Premier also noted that complementary to each other, the three economies’ cooperation in expanding trade scale and exploring investment potential will help promote the development of regional economy and the recovery of the world economy.
