Two hours after his arrival in Canada on Sept 21, Premier Li Keqiang was welcomed by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife, who held a family feast for the Premier at their residence, Harrington Lake.

The two couples had casual conversations alongside a nearby lake, under the sunset glow.

Trudeau posted a photo of their conversation on Twitter and Weibo. He wrote: “It was a lovely evening to invite Premier Li Keqiang and Mrs Cheng Hong in return. Welcome to Canada!”

Premier Li met with Trudeau in Beijing just 20 days ago.
