After Premier Li Keqiang attended the third regular prime ministers’ meeting in Kazakhstan and wrapped up his official visit there, he left the capital, Astana, for Riga, capital city of Latvia, on Nov 4.
Kazakh Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev saw him off at the airport.
In Latvia, ahead of Primer Li’s visit, the airport and main streets of Riga were decorated with posters welcoming the Premier.
Latvian Prime Minister Maris Kucinskis expected Premier Li’s visit to be a milestone for China-Latvia relations.
Premier Li will attend the Fifth Summit of China and Central and Eastern European Countries in Latvia.
