Premier Li Keqiang stopped by an embroidery shop at a folk and culture street during his tour in Kaifeng, Central China’s Henan province.

The 82-year-old shopkeeper, an expert in embroidery, has been practicing the traditional craftsmanship that can be traced back to Song Dynasty (AD 960-279) for decades.

Premier Li spoke highly of shopkeeper’s delicate work and encouraged the senior folk artist to promote the workmanship spirit and carry it on to the next generations.
