Premier Li Keqiang joined a panel discussion with deputies from South China’s Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region at the first session of the 13th National People’s Congress in Beijing on March 6.
One delegate said that he wanted to propose three more “little requirements” when he was about to finish his speech.
Premier Li said these should be called “great suggestions”.
“I’m afraid of no suggestions rather than too many suggestions,” Premier Li said. “Proposing suggestions shows your enthusiasm for your work, and also shows you are conscientious as a delegate for your people.”
