At a panel discussion with deputies from Northeast China’s Liaoning province at the first session of the 13th National People’s Congress in Beijing on March 8, a deputy hoped the central government could offer more policy support to attract talent back from developed regions in South China.
Premier Li Keqiang responded that despite historical burdens, Liaoning province has its own advantages as a traditional industrial base.
He said the province should continue to lower institutional cost and optimize environment to attract talent and inspire market vitality.
