Premier Li Keqiang has arrived in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil. He was welcomed at a ceremony by Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff.
Li’s visit intends to promote the two countries’ comprehensive strategic partnership. The two sides will sign a renewed joint action plan to deepen economic cooperation. Also on Li’s agenda are discussions with Brazilian leaders on BRICS cooperation, climate change, financial cooperation and China-Latin America relations.
Brazil is the first stop in Li’s four-nation Latin America tour, which will also take him to Colombia, Peru and Chile.
