First LMC leaders’ meeting held in China’s Sanya

The first Lancang-Mekong Cooperation leaders’ meeting, themed ‘Shared River, Shared Future’, was held in southern China’s Sanya city. Premier Li Keqiang, along with leaders from Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam, attended the event and jointly reconfirmed five areas of cooperation and listed detailed cooperative measures.

The five priorities are connectivity and production capacity, trans-border economy, water resources, agriculture, and poverty reduction.
