State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi called for efforts to strengthen public security work throughout the year.

During an inspection to local police departments in Fujian province from Jan 4 to 6, Zhao said public security work is of great importance in 2019 as this year is the 70th anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China.

He urged public security departments at all levels to safeguard national security and social stability in an all-out effort, implement related reforms and the public security big data strategy, improve social governance, and rigorously strengthen police discipline.
