State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi urged promotion of standardized law enforcement of public security organizations around the country.

Zhao made the remark when inspecting related work in Beijing on May 27, 2019. He said there was a need to improve the rule of law of public security work and credibility of law enforcement.

Zhao visited the law-enforcement management center of Haidian sub-bureau under Beijing Public Security Bureau, and Niujie police station under Xicheng sub-bureau.

He called for improving the operation system of law enforcement, and the management, supervision and restriction system. “We should fight crimes as well as protect human rights, and pursue efficiency as well as realize equality,” he said.

Information technology should be used to promote the standardization of law enforcement, and more efforts should be made to improve efficiency of online case handling, standardize process, and make management and decision-making more scientific, he said.
