On Aug 31, Vice-Premier Liu Yandong attended a reception held by the China Islamic Association, in celebration of Corban Festival, a traditional Muslim festival.

Yang Faming, head of the China Islamic Association, addressed the reception and sent greetings to Muslims in China and the whole world, saying that the association wished China prosperity, and the world peace and harmony.
